Marguerite Brown

My name is Marguerite Brown and I started playing softball at the age of 7 and spent 9 years with the Chatham Golden Eagles organization.  In that time, our team earned several provincial medals and I earned the PWSA Top Player award in the U14 division. I also had the opportunity to play in the Canadian Nationals tournament at age 14.  At age 16 went on to play with the D1 Nationals U19 team out of Woodstock where we were the first Canadian team to play in the PGF World Series in California. My second year with the Nationals, our team won gold at provincials and then went on to win Bronze at the Canadian Nationals in Victoria, BC.  It was at this tournament that I won the award for the highest batting average for an infielder.  Currently, I am a freshman at Kankakee Community College in Illinois where I am the starting catcher. This is my first year as an assistant coach and I'm excited for the season to start and share my knowledge and love of the game with the U15 Rep team.×
